The Richard III  Society is an international group with an interest in medieval history with particular emphasis on the life and times of Richard III, the last Plantagenet  King of England.

2007 marked the 21st Anniversary of the founding of the Richard III Society in New Zealand. To celebrate, the Branch hosted the biennial Australasian Convention at Wallaceville House, Upper Hutt from 13th to 15th April.

Copies of the papers presented at the Convention may be obtained from the Secretary, contact  secretary@richard3nz.org.

The 2009 Convention was held in Perth, Oct 9th to 11th. Details are shown under the "News" page. Six members of the NZ Branch attended.

The New Zealand Branch members meet monthly alternating between Lower Hutt and  Levin. Prospective new members are welcome.
